Tc Bear vs The Hamm’s Bear …the final Battle!

Have you ever noticed that TC Bear of the Minnesota Twins and the Hamm’s bear are never in the same room at the same time?

So back in the mid 60’s the Washington senators came to Minnesota and changed their name to the Minnesota Twins….duh. Almost immediately the team was sponsored by none other than Hamm’s beer.

Soon after the Hamm’s Bear aka “Sascha” was born and the bear enjoyed fame and fortune and was loved by everyone everywhere.

A couple decades went on and a tragic event took place where the bear was quietly whispered off to a secret location never to be seen again. I’m assuming he went to the same island were Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Tupac and Kurt Cobain are now.

Enter the modern age of the Minnesota Twins. They have a new stadium, new uniforms, some old losing streaks and a new mascot which is … (drumroll) TC Bear!

Now Im not one to start any controversy’s but TC Bear looks strangely familiar….hmm.

Did the Hamm’s bear make it off the island and find his way back to Minnesota and re-assume his old job as the Twins/Hamm’s macot? Well he’s not Hamm’s mascot but if Miller Brewing was smart, he would be their mascot again and they would make more money than they already are, but Im pretty damn sure he is the twins mascot.

I did hear rumors that the design for TC bear was strongly influenced by the bear that Minnesota used to love and they went ahead and did some botox and forehead lifts and there you have the Twins Mascot.

It was very smart on the Twins side because kids love TC and the reason the Hamm’s bear was erased from everyone’s minds was because they were accused of marketing beer towards kids.

Oh I heard a rumor the bear was thinking about running for president, if you are not familiar with the old ads the Hamm’s bear ran for president….never heard any outcome of that election actually.
